I have been making bears for 6 years now and was self taught. I started with Teddy Bears and now since moving to Churchill, meeting and marrying my canadian husband, and living in the Polar Bear capital of the world, decided to try to make and sell Polar Bears. I have designed all the patterns myself and sell them to tourists here in Churchill as an exclusive hand made local product. I have baby bears, teenage bears, and  mother bears and they sell from $135-$350 CA.

I also use Alpaca and a bigger selection of 1000 coloured fur as I like to make all my bears different by using different length and style fur. I have 5 different patterns I use for the cubs, 2 for the teenagers, and 1 for the Mother Bear. The cubs have 5 joints and are 10cms tall, the teenagers and mothers have 6 joints, with a double neck piece for better posing. Teenagers stand 15 cms tall on all fours, and the mothers are 23cms. Their faces are all sculptured by hand and all Belindas Bears have smiles. They are stuffed with a mix of wool, polyfil and steel shot to give weighty cuddles.
